美国音乐学院的奖学金

托福成绩只是录取标准，不是奖学金标准。

美国音乐奖学金有两种。一种是由一些音乐基金会发的，通常是几百到上千美元，发给在大赛中获奖的学生，不限年龄。这种奖学金用来念音乐学院是远远不够的。有些奖学金可以高达几千或上万美元，需要申请然后通过面试决定。这种奖学金主要依靠面试，高中成绩也重要，但不需要托福成绩。比如下面这个奖学金只有500美元：

学校自己发的奖学金，通常至少包学费，有时还发生活费。这种奖学金每个学校只发给每年录取的前几名学生。仍然面试成绩最重要，以前获奖情况也重要，其次是高中成绩。决定奖学金时不会考虑托福成绩的。当然如果你托福不过线人家连录取都不录取。

另外一个重要的因素是你申请里写的essay。好的essay常常可以给你加不少分。

Abrief,basicmusictheoryexamisacomponentoftheaudition.Youmaywanttoreviewtrebleandbassclefnotenames,rhythmicvalues,timesignatures,majorandminorscales,andkeysignatures.
