　　由于AICPA考试的NTS的是有效期的，因此考生一定要在报考时间及科目非常确定的情况下再去申请NTS,否则会给考生自己带来精力和金钱上的损失。

　　BoardsofaccountancywillsetatimeperiodforwhichanNTSisvalid（generallysixmonths）duringwhichyoumustscheduleandtaketheexaminationsection（s），afterwhichitwillexpireandallfeeswillbeforfeited.Itisstronglysuggestedthatyounotapplyforasectionoftheexaminationuntilyouarereadytotakeit.IfyoudonottakeallsectionsforwhichyouregisteredbeforetheNTSexpires，youwillnotbeabletoextenditorreceivearefundofanyofthefeesyouhavepaid.PleasebeadvisedthatcancellinganExamappointmentdoesNOTchangetheexpirationdateofyourNTS.Alljurisdictionshaveestablishedasix-monthNTSvalidationperiod，exceptforthefollowingjurisdictions：
