theExcellentDoctorEducationandTrainingProgram,theNationalEnvironmentalProtectionTrainingBase,

theMinistryofEducation'sfirstbatchof“NewEngineering”researchandpracticeprojects,theNationalNuclearEmergencyAdvocacyandTrainingBase,

andtheNationalNuclearEmergencymedicalrescueunit.

TheschoolwasmergedandestablishedbytheCentralSouthInstituteofTechnology,formerlyaffiliatedtotheMinistryofNuclearIndustry,

andtheHengyangMedicalCollege,whichwasoriginallyaffiliatedtoHunanProvince.InOctober2002,

theSixthInstituteofNuclearIndustry,formerlyaffiliatedtotheMinistryofNuclearIndustry,wasmergedintoNanhuaUniversity.

AsofSeptember2018,theschoolhastwocampuses,HongxiangandYumu,with18teachingcolleges,4affiliatedaffiliatedhospitals,

11collaborativeaffiliatedhospitals,and25postgraduatecooperativetrainingunits;73undergraduatemajors.

Thereare3post-doctoralresearchmobileworkstations,5academicdegreefirst-leveldoctoralprograms,33academicdegreesecondarydisciplinedoctoralprograms,

academicdegreefirst-levelmaster'sdegreeprograms24,andacademicdegreesecond-levelmasterprograms127masters.

Thereare13professionaldegreeauthorizationcategoriesand11engineeringmasterdegreeprograms.Therearemorethan50,000students,

includingnearly30,000full-timeundergraduates,nearly4,000doctoralandmasterstudents,

andmorethan400internationalstudents.Therearenearly18,000juniorcollegestudents.
