　　万里长城是世界伟大的七大奇迹之一，也是中国古代的军事防御工程。

　　在北京给我印象最深的是长城，是世界上最大的项目之一。它不仅是文化遗产，也是中国的象征。我觉得它很辉煌.它就像一条巨龙穿越山区。从东面的山海关开始一直延伸到西边的嘉峪关。太长了以至于没有人能从走到尾。

　　长城有2000多年的历史。它开始修建于春秋时期。秦朝时所有的城墙联结在一起。所有工作都是用手完成的，成千上万的人在修建长城时死去。长城就是这样出现的。

　　长城是我向往的地方，今天我就来到了北京的八达岭长城。

　　我靠着城墙远远看去，长城像一条长龙弯弯曲曲的俯卧在这丛山峻岭之间，一望无际的蓝天下，这条长龙威武、雄壮。往远处眺望山峰连绵起伏，山峰上的树苍翠欲滴。就像一片绿色的海洋。我再向下看一只只汽车如甲虫，一个个行人如蚂蚁。

　　站在长城上，踏着脚下的方砖，扶着墙上的条石，很自然的想起古代修筑长城的劳动人民。古代没有汽车、火车、起重机等搬运工具，两三千的斤重砖要靠古代工匠们一块快运往这陡峭的山岭上，这多不容易啊!不知道有多少人累死在这长城下，正因为有这些古代劳动人民才有今日这条威武雄壮的长龙。
