　　TheMedicineCampusincludestheFacultyofMedicine,theInstitutodeInvestigacionesBiomédicasAlbertoSols(AlbertoSolsBiomedicalResearchInstitute),thecentromixtoUAM-CSIC(combinedUAM-SpanishCouncilforScientificResearchcentre),andtheInstitutoTeófiloHernandodeI+DdelMedicamento(TeófiloHernandoInstituteforDrugDevelopment).ThecampusislocatedinthenorthofMadrid,just100metresfromtheLaPazUniversityHospital,oneofthesixhospitalsithaslinkswith.Itislessthan1kmawayfromtwofirst-classresearchcentres,bothincludedintheproposalforaUAM-CSICInternationalCampusofExcellenceandaffiliatedtotheInstitutodeSaludCarlosIII(CarlosIIIHealthInstitute),theCentroNacionaldeInvestigacionesOncológicas(NationalOncologyResearchCentre[CNIO])andtheCentroNacionaldeInvestigacionesCardiovasculares(NationalCentreforCardiovascularResearch[CNIC]).TheFacultyhas300membersofteachingstaff,75administrationandservicesemployeesandaround1800students.

　　医学校区

　　医学校区集中了医学院、AlbertoSols生物医学研究所、马德里自治大学—西班牙委员会科研中心和TeófiloHernando药物研发中心。医学校区位于马德里北部，距离拉巴斯大学医仅百米之遥，后者也是医学校区与之有联络的六个医院之一。在医学校区一公里以内就有两个一流的研究中心。这两个研究中心都已出现在UAM-CSIC国际优秀校区提议中，并且都附属于卡洛斯三世卫生研究所、国家癌症研究中心和国家心血管研究中心。医学院有3百名教职人员，75名行政管理服务人员和近1千8百名学生。
