提到托福考试词汇，很多高中生头疼不已。每天在紧张的学校学习之外拼了命的背诵，结果第二天背熟的单词也已经，最重要的是记住的单词也做不对，为什么会这样？心好累。。。因为你不知道有玄机。

今天带大家认清托福词汇真面目。

一、面如桃花心似刀（词根词缀）

分 析：本道题目的单词对于大多数同学都是陌生的，根据常规思维，学生容易根据前缀pre去推测该单词会有往前的意思，但其实在该单词里却失去了常见词根 词缀的意思，表示荒谬的；难以置信的，所以正确答案为跟向前毫无关联的A选项。记住词根词缀只是包括大多数单词，也有例外哦。

二、上下关联容易错（上下文推测）

Paragraph 5: In all but the remotest regions of the empire, Roman pottery of a high standard is common at the sites of humble villages and isolated farmsteads.

分 析：该单词对于学生来讲，难度系数不如上题高。有不少同学认识humble，知道其常用义为谦虚，也注意到只有D选项是谦虚的意思。但是带入原文会发 现修饰对象为villiages，觉得修饰不通，根据上下文推测应与isolated并列同义，所以会误选A或者B选项。这样就中了ETS的圈套了，因为 humble及modest还有中小型的意思。

三、玫瑰月季分不清（意思过于接近，同义词）

分 析：绝大多数同学对于该单词并不陌生，不就是着迷呗，答案就是C呗。同学等等，问题没你想的那么简单。C选项表示感兴趣，与着迷意思一样 么？还不懂是吧？比如，你对于自拍很感兴趣能等同于你对于自拍难以自拔么，显然不是一个段位。一个还在窥探，一个已经难以自拔。重新浏览选项，A：考 虑；B：专注；C：对。。。。。。的态度。答案就不言而喻了。所以千万不能粗心，尤其对于意思非常接近的选项。另外要保证选项全部要浏览。
