Firstly, we can reduce waste by recycling and reusing items. For example, instead of throwing away used bottles and papers, we can collect them and hand them in for recycling. Secondly, we should minimize the use of plastic bags, which are a major source of pollution. We can bring our own reusable bags to shopping. Lastly, we can practice energy conservation by turning off lights and water when not in use.
