near 与next to 是同义词吗
“next to”和“near”都有指物理距离不远的，邻近的意思，区别如下：
1、near是多指在附近、向……靠近（但并不一定挨着）
Sit next to… 坐在…旁边
Be next to… 坐在…旁边
Live next to… 住在…旁边
【例句】He sits near to me. 他坐在我的附近。（不一定挨着我坐）
2、“next to”指“贴近;挨着;与……相邻”
【例句】He sits next to me. 他挨着我坐。
