holdup与putup有什么区别
hold up举起; 支撑; 耽搁; 持械抢劫;
hold up表示举起的时候，一般有两种用法：
①举起身体的某一部分:
hold up（=raise） your hand，
引申义为“坚持”：
Hold up your head and tell yourself you will never give up.
②用手举起一个事物，多为比较轻小的物体
He held up the book so she could see the cover.
He held up his gun to shoot
put up：vt.张贴; 举起; 建造; 提高;vi.提供食宿; 直接行动;
例句：
If you have a question, please put up [=raise] your hand.有问题的话，请举手。
I just put up new curtains.我刚刚挂上了新窗帘。
They put up a display of new products.他们搭展位展示新产品。
It's time to put up [=put away] your toys and get ready for bed.是时候把你的玩具收起来、准备上床睡觉了。
She put up a good/solid argument in his defense.她提出了有利/有力的证据为他进行辩护。
