"Close" 和 "closely" 均可表示“靠近”“接近”之意，但用法上稍有不同。

"Close" 一般作形容词或动词使用，作形容词是指 “靠近的”“临近的”、“关闭的”等意思，例如：- The store is close to the train station.（商店靠近火车站。）- Please close the door when you leave.（离开时请关上门。）作为动词，意思是"关上"、“结束”、"结束"等含义，例如：- She closed her eyes and went to sleep.（她闭上眼睛开始睡觉。）- The boss decided to close the company because of financial difficulties. （经理因为财务困难而决定关闭公司。）"closely" 是副词, 意思是"密切地"、"仔细地"、"紧密相连地"，常用来描述具有密切联系的事物。例如：- The two friends are closely connected.（这两位朋友关系非常亲密。）- He looked at the painting closely, trying to see every detail.（他仔细地看着画，试图看到每一个细节。）总之，“close” 和 “closely” 在某些语境下可以相互替换，但用法略微有所不同。
