convenient的实际意思是“使人感到方便的”，而不是“(自己)感觉到方便的”，所以它的主语通常不能是人。

如：Railway is convenient. 铁路方便。通常情况下convenient 后接不定式 to do sth 时，它的主语应是形式主语 it，而不是具体的人或物。如：It’s more convenient to eat in the canteen. 在食堂吃饭比较方便。I think it is convenient to leave at once. 我认为马上离开较适合。It is convenient to have the bus stop so close. 公共汽车站这么近，真方便。▲但这类结构有时也可能没有形式主语，而直接用“人”或“物”作主语，不过此时句子的主语必须是其后不定式的逻辑宾语。如：Mary is convenient to see on Sunday. ＝ It’s convenient to see Mary on Sunday. 星期天见玛丽较为方便。
