托福阅读逻辑信号词

仔细观察一下，近几年的托福阅读考题内容，不难发现信号词可以帮助考生节省很多时间。

1.显示相同信息的信号词

Therehasbeenanupsurgeofinterestinchambermusic.Likewiseoperaisreceivingaboostfromincreasedrecordsales.

“likewise”这一信号词显示了前面所提到的idea后面还要再一次出现，所以当阅读到这样的单词时，不必放慢阅读速度。这样的信息还包括:and,furthermore,more,than,that,also,likewise,moreover,inaddition,whatismore,forinstance,forexample.

2.显示思想转折的信号词

I'dliketogobutI'mtoobusy.

“but”是一种完全不同的信息描述，它向读者表明作者的思想在这里发生了转变。当我们遇到像这样的信号词时，我们需要放慢阅读速度，才能准确地理解作者想说什么。这些信号词还包括:

抓住了这样的信号词就把握住了作者叙述的顺序，也就分清了相对独立的论据，这些信号包括:

5.表示结论\的信号词

Inconclusion,IwouldliketosayhowmuchIhaveenjoyedmyselftoday.

“inconclusion”一词前面提到的一些信息将在此加以。当你读到这样一个信号词或短语的句子时，要格外注意。其他表示结论或结论的符号和短语有:
