Ulric Hans Fredrik Carl Von Der Esch was born in Stockholm on May 17th 1977 but trained as an actor in the United States, studying for three years at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York before moving to Los Angeles and the Vincent Chase Workshop for another two years. He started his stage career in America in plays including ＇The Common Pursuit＇ and ＇The Madwoman of Chaillot＇ before returning to Stockholm in 2006.
