路易斯·范德吉尔
Lourisvan de Geer is a writer working across theatre, live performance and screen from Melbourne, Australia. She has been described as a “distinctive new voice" and her work as a "brilliant...study of human existence” by The Age.
Louris was awarded the Australia Council BR Whiting Studio Residency and will spend three months in Rome in 2024. She holds a Masters of Writing for Performance from the Victorian College of the Arts. Her work has been shortlisted for the Griffin Award, the Edward Albee Scholarship and the Rodney Seaborn Award. She is the recipient of an Australia Council Art Start grant, a Bundanon Fellowship, and an Ian Potter Travel Scholarship which supported her travels to the UK and Europe. Louris was selected for the Australia Council JUMP Mentorship Program, Malthouse Theatre’s Besen Family Artist Program and Malcolm Robertson Writers Program and was one of Melbourne Theatre Company’s inaugural Next Stage Commissions.
