RememberthedaywhenIfirstcametothecollege.Beingaboyof17,Iwaslongingforanewlifeasacollegestudent;but,atthesametime,Ihadnoideawhatcollegelifewouldbelike.Thatmorningwhenthebuscarriedmetothegateofthecollege.Iwassoexcitedthatmyheartwasbeatingveryfastasifitwouldleapoutofmymouth.Fromnowon,Iwouldbeastudentofthiscollege.Afterregistration,wewereledbyaninstructortothedormitory,where,forthefirsttime,weweregoingtolivewithoutparentsbutroommates.IwassoclumsythatIdidnotknowhowtomakethebedandfixthemosquitonet.

Intheafternoon,Itookawalkaroundthecampustogetherwithmyroommates.Tothinkofstudyinginsuchabeautifulplacemademefeelquiteproudofmyself.Aswewerewalkingalong,talkingandlaughing,avoicecameintoourears,"Oh,lookatthesefreshmen!"Itwasourmiddle-school-students'lookingthatgaveusaway.Wecontinuedourtourofthecollege,inspectingeverybuildingandeverygardenuntilthesunbegantoset.
