一、试题形式

目前高考及其他阶段各种采用的听力测试题型主要为三种：短对话、短篇以及长对话。答题形式有两种：多项选择题（Multiple Choice）和填空题（Spot Dictation）。其中填空题有的空格要求考生听懂长对话内容，填其“意义”而不是细节性的具体单词。

短对话只听1遍；其他两大题，各听2遍，耗时约20—30分钟。

二、应试技巧

听短对话。考生在处理广播调试声音后，即可“扫描”短对话中的选项。据此展望第1个短对话可能出现的话题。

假如考生看到的是：

A. On March 2

B. On March 3

C. On March 5

D. On March 8

则考生可以判断，第1题话题涉及3月的某一天；考生一听见录音第1题及问句，由于已有所知悉，立刻可做出正确选择。

不要等到第一题念毕，问句提出后再去看四个选项。一般两道听力题（短对话）之间相隔6秒。如早早完成，即可提前思考第2题。

又如题干较长的题目：

A. They’d better not go riding.

B. Riding a bike is a great idea.

C. It’s not good riding in the rain.

D. They can go riding half an hour later.

考生在“扫描”时，预先知道该题涉及骑自行车；其中可能涉及骑车的时间，也可能是涉及一次具体的骑车活动。

这种“超前”浏览选项的本领可以培养，有的考生可以提前“扫描”3~5题，并保留一定印象。

[注] 听短对话时切忌走神。万一走神，比如说第4题没听清楚，你的本能反应是想再听，想回忆——但根本不可能，所以此刻只好猜题。猜题还有1/4的希望；反思的话，不巧把第5题也给漏掉!

听短文。听短文时要学会“记要”（taking notes）。记要有两类，一是用符号记下关键信息（如数量大小、时间顺序等）；一是用具体文字记。这是因为短文耗时长，有人会“前听后忘记”。另外一个决窍是“超前”浏览短篇的选项。如：

A. Why a company lost its customers.

B. Why a company went out of business.

C. How a company went from bad to worse.

D. How a company got out of its difficult situation.

考生一扫描就意识到该题指全文中心思想，并立即分辨出问题要么问理由（针对why）, 要么讲过程（针对how）。

听长对话。听长对话也应该有个“超前”扫描，先对对话话题有个印象。在对话进行时要注意“细节”（detail）和“关键词” （key words），必要时也得作“记要”：用铅笔，在边（test paper margin）记一下。Taking notes的技巧可以从《英语（新世纪版）》年级的课本中去找。

三、训练

听力水平的提高有两种方法：

（一）不断地“听”模拟试题。隔天一听，每周两听，等等。从当年9月起听到次年5月；用过的试卷达40~50套。这种应试训练要注意：

1. 每次训练宜一气呵成。高考听力是一气呵成，中间无间歇的。

2. 每次训练要尝试“超前”技巧。

3. 听完，对好答案，要反思，查一查自己丢分的道理，查一查自己的“软肋”。

（二）抓基本功。选择材料，听取“意群”（sense group），听“连读”（liaison），听“重读”（stressed words）以及“略读”（reduction）。为什么?因为目前高考听力并不采用“真实语言材料”（authentic material）。在真实生活中的对话，处处用到上述4种口语“技巧”。一般速度快，句子短或者不完整。所以从长远看，要真正提高听力水平，应从基本功开始，在迎接高考之初，第二种准备方法为时不晚，关键是勤奋。

四、材料信息

关于听力模拟试卷，建议选用专业出版社的产品，如上海外语出版社。

关于听力基本功训练，建议选用《英语（新世纪版）听力》（上海外语教育出版社）。该书1~3册，每单元后都有Mechanic Skills的专项训练，附有“意群”、“连读”、“重读”及“略读”的实例。

另外，如考生有条件，进口教材中有许多精彩的`听力训练材料可选用，如：Longman出版的Impact Listening 1~3，配有CD。 至于书市上流行的VOA, BBC及CNN的各种CD，可以选用一些，但必须由精选。

听力材料话题一定要广泛，话题要符合《课程标准》中提及的项目。

五、注意事项

生词的拼写及朗读也应同步展开。单词读音不准，听力的准确性受损；单词的拼写不准，即便听懂了的也写不出来。

Smart phones can provide music, movie times, bus schedules. They can even make phone calls! And now, they might help cut down fuel use while driving. That is, if enough are used in a system called SignalGuru developed by researchers at MIT and Princeton.

A network of smartphones mounted on vehicle dashboards captures and transmits images of traffic signals. The SignalGuru software then analyzes the data to predict traffic signal patterns. If the light ahead is red, the driver is told the optimal speed to avoid stopping and idling. Or told to make a slight route change that avoids a stop. Because idling and accelerating significantly increase fuel consumption.

The system was tested in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where traffic lights are on a set pattern. And in Singapore, where signals respond to traffic flow. And drivers slashed their fuel use by about 20 percent on average. The study won a best-paper award at the Association for Computing Machinery’s MobiSys Conference.

In schools all over the world boys and girls are learning foreign languages. Many adults are doing so in their spare time. Everybody knows his own language， but to know another is very useful.

Which is the best way to learn a language? We should remember we all learnt our own language well when we were children. If we could learn a second language in the same way， it would not seem so difficult. Think what a small child does. It listens to what people say and tries to imitate what it hears. When it wants something， it has to ask for it. It is using the language. It is talking and thinking in it all the time. If one has to use a second language all the time， he would learn it quickly.

It is important to remember， also， that we learn our own language by hearing people speaking it not by seeing what they write. We imitate what we hear. In my opinion, we should not, for the following reasons.

First, famous people are not necessarily well informed about the issues under discussion. While everyone has a right to express his opinion, a willingness to speak does not imply knowledge. Second, a famous person may not be impartial true when some type of product endorsement is involved. Third, a reliance on the opinions of famous people may prevent us from thinking for ourselves. 虽然全是英语，我还是能听得懂，并且一节课进行的非常顺利。

王老师还与我们做了一个小游戏。这个游戏的规则是：老师大声说单词，我们就小声说单词；老师小声说单词，我们就大声说单词。

有新进行的非常顺利，都的同学们哈哈大笑，我也在其中找到了无限的乐趣。

除了这个小游戏，王老师还给我们带来了一个抢答游戏，用到的词语都是本节课所学到的，让我们说出这些词的反义词，想到就立刻站起来说。

我们也都非常积极，都站起来抢答，有时候一下子站起来一半多的同学，而我也站起来很多次。

时间飞逝，不知怎的，不一会儿就下课了，我还没有上够这节课呢！

我最喜欢的就是这节课了，因为这节课气氛活跃，老师呢，既漂亮又和蔼，而且还很幽默，这那倒不是很好的一节课吗？

但无独有偶，就是从那一天，我心情愉悦的时候，妈妈正好让我趣配音，我发现我蛮有语言天赋的，在整个配音过程中，我的思维锁定所有的发音，然后那些发音就像跳跃的小鸟又从我的嘴巴里一蹦一跳飞出来，哇！这是标准的原配么。

从那天起我就找到了我原来是可以做到的，原来我的潜力是无限大的感觉。

In every class, there will be some bad students, they are very active and annoy other students.
