英语表达将来时的词有哪些
一般的表将来的词就不再复述了，这里介绍一些相对冷门的
可以用beonthevergeof.../brinkof.../pointof...表示很快要发生的事情
例：Peopleareonthevergeofstarvationasthedroughtcontinues.
ScientistsareonthebrinkofmakingmajoradvancesinthefightagainstAIDS.（面对新的、危险的或令人兴奋的处境用brink）
beduetodo表示期待在将来的某个特定时间点发生某事，besure/boundtodo表示很有可能或一定会发生某事，besettodo表示很快马上要发生某事
例：Thecompany'schiefexecutiveisduetoretirenextyear,butfollowingtoday'sannouncementoffurtherlossessheissuretobeaskedtoleavesonner.
Hernewfilmissettobeagreatsuccess.
guarantee,aim,agree,expect,hope,intend,mean,plan,promise,propose,resolve,undertake,want这些动词+todo表示今后打算做什么，其中部分动词可以原型+todo或动词ing+todo表示目的、打算。
例：Weguaranteetorefundyourmoneyifyouaredissatisfiedwiththecomputer.
IaimtogettoBangkokbytheendofJune.（或者I'maimingtoget...Iwasaimingtoget...）
在演讲或报道中，可以用belookingtodo表示计划措施
例We'relookingtocreat3,000jobsinthecityoverthenextyear.
以上这些用法如果放在过去时中，表示在过去预测将来
例：Itwashis64thbirthdayin2006andhewasduetoretirethefollowingyear.
