TheRepublicofSouthAfricaislocatedatthesouthernmosttipoftheAfricancontinent,withtheIndianOceanandtheAtlanticOceanontheotherthreesides.Itislocatedattheshippinghubbetweenthetwooceans.TheCapeofGoodHoperouteinthesoutheasthasalwaysbeentheworld’sbusiestsealanes.Asaresult,therouteiscalledthe“lifelineoftheWestSea”.Itconsistsoffourmajorraces—black,white,coloredandAsianethnic.

　　南非位于非洲大陆最南端,东、西、南三面濒临印度洋和大西洋。地处两大洋间的航运要冲,其西南端的好望角航线历来是世界上最繁忙的海上通道之一,有“西方海上生命线”之称。南非人主要由黑人、白人、有色人和亚裔等四大种族构成。
