　　首先虚荣起了重要的`作用。不管是普通人还是名人，他们都有同样的心理，那就是虚荣。一些著名的学者会选择使用学术造假而得到更好的名声。其次学术成果是成为晋升或加薪的主要标准。有些人可能会有侥幸心理，所以他们选择欺骗大家，尤其是他们的老板会给他们所想要的。第三对学术造假的惩罚还是比较宽容的。学术很少会被发现，除非带来了严重的后果。有些人想成功会不惜任何代价选择这种方式。
