ShanghaiWorldExpo2010FinnishNationalGalleryisentitledCurling(Kirnu)(KirnuisthemeaningofOucave).ChinesenamecomesfromtheTangDynastypoetWangChanglingCurlingpoem,Luoyangrelatives,suchaswithQ,oneofBingXininJadePot.Curlingrepresentspurityandsincerity,whichispreciselytheFinnishMuseumofthecorevaluesyouwanttoconveytotheworld.

FinnishMuseumofArchitectureDesignCollectionCompetitioninMay2008launchednationwideinFinland,receivedatotalof104entries.ResultsofthecompetitiononOctober6announcedinHelsinki:HelsinkiarchitecturedesignstudioJKMMbytheauthorofcurlingtheultimatestandout,comeoutontop.Aftertheannouncementoftheresultsbeganplanningexhibitionhall.CurlingstartedinApril2009constructionwillbecompletedinApril2010.CurlingisthemaindesignerGuoTaiMu(TeemuKurkela),followingisthecurlingconceptdescription.

ShanghaiExpo2010FinnishPavilionCurlingwewillpresentamini-Finland,Finlandandthewholeshowtotheworldoutlookofthecommunity.CurlingcanberegardedasestablishedbytheFinnishminiaturecity,theinteriorspaceofthestoryaboutFinlandandFinns.FinnishCurlingdemonstratedhowtheprinciplesofsustainabledevelopmentbuildbettercities.CurlinginheritedtheconceptofFinnishsociety,combinesinnovation,technologyandculture-afusiontotheFinnhasbroughtabetterlife.

Constructionprocess

3Dcomputermodelwillbeusedtoaidtheconstructionprocess.HallstructuraldesignwithFinland'sTaiKela(Tekla)softwaredesign.Intheexhibitionhallofthedesignandconstructionprocess,theFinnishandChineseexpertshadaverysuccessfulclosecooperation.

SustainableDevelopment

Inthenearfuture,thecitybuildingwillfaceamajorchallengeistofindwaystoprotectnaturalresources,sustainableconstruction.ThePavilionisalaboratoryofsustainablearchitecture,demonstratingthefutureofsustainableurbanconstructioninFinlandsolutions.

Curlingisapermanentbuildingstandardsinaccordancewiththedesign.WorldExpo,thecurlingwillbesold,andforsubsequentuse.Indesign,theservicelifeofcurlingcanbeflexibleandabletoextendhigh-qualityprograms.Itwillfirstbedemolished,thenplaceinthenewrestructuring.Curlingbasicstructureofallthesteelframesareboltedconnection,itcanbeeasilydemolished.Ifinthefutureifnecessary,youcanalsoaddfloors.Curlingmadeofhigh-techandinnovativeideashavealonglife.
