英语作文：我对电视的看法

Stepintothenewcentury,televisionplaysaveryimportantroleinpeople’sdailylife.Somepeoplebelievethatitisablessing,whileothersarguethatitisacursetothesociety,epicallytotheteenagers.Inmyhumbleopinion,televisionhasbothadvantagesanddisadvantages.

进入新世纪以来，电视在人们日常生活中扮演了重要的角色。有些人认为电视的产生是件好事，有些人则认为电视是对当代社会的一个诅咒，特别是对青少年来说。在我看来电视有利有弊。

电视让人们了解到世界上究竟发生了什么。在电视还没有发明之前，人们通过报纸、广播来沟通传递信息。但它们的传播速度远远比不上电视。如果某个地方发生了地震，我们马上就能知道。电视也让我们枯燥的生活变得有趣。对那些退休的人、家庭主妇、在家里度过暑假的孩子们来说电视是个很好的伙伴。打开电视不用去电*，就能看到最新的电影和节目。电视也提供特殊的节目，例如烹饪、教学、健身等等。它教给我们知识，扩宽我们的眼界。

就像任何硬币都有两面，电视也不例外。它也会给人带来害处。有些电视节目过于暴力不适合青少年观看。虚假广告充斥着午夜节目。有些人抱怨到电视占用了人们过多的自由时间，他们都没空参加家庭聚会或者与朋友们一起外出游玩了。更有甚者过度沉迷于电视，以至于变成了“马铃薯沙发”。看电视简直就是浪费时间啊！

总体而言我们应该对电视持一个正确的态度。正确的使用电视，减少看电视的时间，只看那些有意义的节目。只有这样我们才能够从中获取好处。
