MyhometownisbeautifulplaceItstandsnearawideriveratthefootoflowgreenhills.Ithasmanytallbuildingsandwidestreets.Therearetreesandflowerseverywhere.Butithasnotalwaysbeenlikethat.Intheolddays,itwasasaddirtylittletown.Landlordsandmerchantslivedinthefewgoodhouses.Fortheworkingpeopletherewereonlydark,unhealthyroomsinoldbuildingsandhutsinnarrowmuddystreets.Nearlyeveryonewaspoorandmanyhadnowork.Everythinghaschangedsinceliberation.Thepeople,ledbytheParty,havegotridofthemudanddirt.Theyhaveputupschools,theaters,shopsandflats.Theyhaveanassemblyhallandahospital.Alongtherivertheyhavebuiltoffices,hotelsandparks.Alotoffactorieshavesprungup.Ontheriver,streamersandboatscomeandgobusily,dayandnight.Theycarrytheproductsofourindustriestoallpartsofthecountry.Ilovemyhometown,andIloveitspeople.Theyalsohavechanged.Healthyandhappy,theyaregoingallouttobuildsocialism.我的家乡我的家乡是个美丽的地方。它座落在一座不高的绿色山脚下，一条宽阔的河流边。有许多高耸的大楼和宽阔的街道。树木和花草随处可见。但是它并不是一直如此。在旧社会它是一个凄凉、肮脏的小镇。地主和商人住在几栋漂亮的房子里。劳动人民只能住在破旧、黑暗、不卫生的房子里或是狭窄、泥泞街道旁的茅屋里。几乎所有人都贫困，许多人没有工作。解放后一切都改变了。在共产党的领导下，人民告别了泥泞和肮脏。他们建起了学校、剧院、商店和公寓，还有大礼堂和医院。沿河建起了办公大楼、宾馆和公园。许多工厂迅速涌现。河上汽船、小船日夜穿梭，他们将我们的工业产品运往全国各地。
