网络虽然有这么多的好处，但也有许多弊处。现在许多青少年都沉迷于网络游戏，有些人经常在网吧里玩游戏玩到天亮。不仅浪费了大好的学习时光，而且损害了自己的健康，有些甚至危害到了社会与他人安全。被网络诱惑而步入歧途的事例不胜枚举。

中学生吴治因爷爷奶奶不给他钱去网吧玩游戏，趁爷爷奶奶午休时，手拿一把半尺长的刀向奶奶刺去，奶奶当场身亡，爷爷也被他砍成了重伤。

还有一个事例：一对母子，因儿子沉迷于游戏中也常逃学打架，母亲走到江边时责备了儿子几句，说“你再不听话，我就跳下去”。儿子想都没想，便说：“你要跳就跳”。说完母亲就跳江了，儿子见状也立即跳下去，可却没有救回母亲。儿子十分自责，最终竟随母亲而去。

如果是网络的错，那么我们就不要步入网络时代，回到以前那种原始状态的时代。但我们的学习、工作、生活一定会受到很大的阻碍，社会也将停滞不前。

如果是我们青少年的错，那么我们就一心一意学习，不去增加我们的课余生活，那么我们岂不是成了一个“书呆子”？

所以网络是好是坏由我们自己来决定。如果我们想让网络变坏，网络也可以变坏。如果我们想让网络变好，网络同样可以好。网络是好是坏，决定权力在我们手中。
