给孩子补课必然有益处，个人感觉有以下几个方面：

但也不可忽视因此所致的许多负面效应。

1，学生的疑问，都可得到比较便利和高效解决。这可也恰恰给学生养成了一种依赖心理、知难而待心理。

如果能以扎实的智力开发、培养学习独立发现问题、分析解决问题的能力为目标，则是非常喜人的。

2，学生们大量的业余时间被课外辅导时间挤占，大部分情况下市被牵着去，走一条早已被认为枯燥无味又无开拓意味的闯题海的路子，无法因人而异提高自己，学习兴趣减弱，知识界面变窄，这是及不符合复合式学习能力竞争形式的。

3，许多学科被轻视，自然是考试中不考的科目以及提高孩子其他类似文艺方面能力的学科，从而进一步导致孩子的发展不全面。

4，给家长增加了教育的支出。

5，参与课外的教师的负担自然也加重，从而导致无暇好好备课、辅导，这也不可不虑。

6，当然对学习实在困难的学生，是得以重视，可仅把他们推向补课的队伍，抑制其自学能力的发展，也并非是最好的途径。

所以该不该补课,应视学生学习情况而定。
