高三英语作文：学校应该开展性教育吗

大多数中国人提到“性”这个话题时很尴尬，人们认为“性”很敏感。这就是学校不愿意给学生教授性知识的原因。但是在我看来，性教育不能再等待。

Whydoyouthneedsexeducation?MostteenagersgettheHIVvirusorsexuallytransmitteddiseasesbecauseofhavingsexwithaninfectedperson.TheycanavoidanyriskofHIVorSTDiftheyhavelearnedhowtoprotectthemselves.Ontheotherhands,teenagers’pregnancyrateinChinaisastonishinglyhigh.Accordingtothesurvey,morethanamillionteenagersbecomeaccidentallypregnanteachyear.Now，thissituationbecomesserious.

为什么年轻人需要性教育呢？大多数青少年感染艾滋病或性病是因为与携带者发生关系。如果他们知道该如何保护自己，就能够完全避免这些情况。另一方面在中国，青少年的怀孕率高得惊人。通过调查显示，每年有超过100万名青少女意外怀孕。现如今这种情况更加严重。

Inmyopinion,sexeducationisabsolutelyessential.Theschoolshavetheresponsibilitytoteachstudentstohavetherightattitudetowardsthegenderissue.Takingaboutsexisnotashame.Itisnotembarrassment.Thequestionisnolongerwhethersexeducationshouldbetaught,butratherhowitshouldbetaught.

在我看来性教育非常有必要。学校有责任教授学生对性问题的正确的态度。谈论“性”并不可耻，也不尴尬。但现问题已不是该不该教授性知识，而是该如何教。
