笛子是中国传统音乐中常用的横吹木管乐器之一，笛子也有很多种类，除了最常见的竹笛，还有石笛、瓷笛和玉笛。不过制作笛子的最好原料仍然是竹子，因为这种材料的笛子声音效果最好了。
