比较级和最高级英语

一、比较级

1.“比较级+and+比较级”或“moreandmore+原级(多音节或部分双音节)”，译为“越来越……”

TheweatherinWuhanisgettinghotterandhotter.武汉的天气变得越来越热。

Leebecomesmoreandmorebeautiful.李变得越来越漂亮。

2.“the+比较级，the+比较级”，译为“越…越…。”

Theharderyouare,theluckieryouare.越努力越幸运。

3.“the+比较级+ofthetwo……”表示“…是两者中较…的”

Lookatthetwoboys,mybrotheristhetallerofthetwo.看这两个男孩，我弟弟是比较高的那个。

4.形容词/副词比较级+than+anyother+单数名词(+介词短语)”表示“比同一范围的任何一个人/物都……”，含义是“最……”。

Mikegetstoschoolearlierthananyotherstudentinhisclass.

=Mikegetstoschoolearlierthananyoftheotherstudentsinhisclass.

=Mikegetstoschoolearlierthantheotherstudentsinhisclass.

=Mikegetstoschoolearliestinhisclass.

二、最高级

1.主语+be+the+形容词最高级+in/of短语

Heisthetallestinourclass.他是我们班上最高的。

2.主语+实义动词+(the)+副词最高级+in/of短语

Shesingsbestofallgirls.她是所有女孩当中唱歌最好的。

3.疑问词+助动词+主语+动词原形+be(+the)+最高级+甲，乙or丙？

Whodoyouthinkwasthebestact,A,BorC?你认为谁是最好的表演者，A,B还是C？

4.“主语+动词+oneofthe+形容词最高级+复数名词+in/of短语”表示“…是……中最……之一”。

BeijingisoneofthelargestcitiesinChina.北京是中国最大的城市之一。

5.序数词+最高级

HainanIslandisthesecondlargestislandinChina.海南岛是中国的第二大岛屿。

注意:

of与in的选择

of:主语同后面的词是同一类人或物，后接复数名词(可省略)。

in:主语与后面的词是人物与地点的关系。

He'sthetallestofthethree.他是三个人当中最高的。

He'sthetallestinourclass.他是我们班上最高的。
