英语写作中连接词的分类

（1）表示平行或递进。如：and,also,aswell(as),too,atthesametime,besides,both...and...,furthermore,inaddition(to),moreover,similarly,

what’smore等。

（2）表示转折。如：although,however,onthecontrary,still,but,otherwise,despite,nevertheless,though,infact,actually,asamatteroffact,notonly...butalso...,ontheotherhand,while,onthecontrast,instead等。

（3）表示目的或因果。如：as,asaresult,because(of),consequently,dueto,onaccountof,for,since,so,sothat,nowthat,therefore,thus,hence等。

（4）表示层次或顺序。如：after(that),before,when,first(ly),second(ly),third(ly),atlast,lastbutnotleast,finally,next,then等。

（5）表示举例。如：forexample,forinstance,foronething…foranother…,suchas等。

（6）表示解释或说明。如：inotherwords,thatis(tosay)等。

（7）表示归纳或总结。如：inaword,tosumup,allinall,inconclusion,asfaras,asaresult等。
