猎豹的英语作文

猎豹（学名：Acinonyxjubatus），又称印度豹，是猫科动物的一种，也是猎豹属下唯一的物种，现在主要分布在非洲与西亚。同其它猫科动物不同，猎豹依靠速度来捕猎，而非偷袭或群体攻击。猎豹是陆上奔跑最快的动物，全速奔驰的猎豹，时速可以超过110公里，相当于百米世界冠军的三倍快。猎豹不仅是陆地上速度最快的动物，也是猫科动物成员中历史最久，最独特和特异化的品种。

猎豹的猎物主要是中小型有蹄类动物，包括汤姆森瞪羚、葛氏瞪羚、黑斑羚和小角马等。为了速度猎豹渐渐进化的身材修长，腰部很细，爪子也无法象其他猫科动物那样随意伸缩，在力量方面也不及其他大型猎食动物，因此无法和其他大型猎食动物如狮子，鬣狗等对抗，虽然捕猎成功率能达到50%以上，但辛苦捕来的猎物经常被更强的掠食者抢走，因此猎豹会加快进食速度，或者把食物带到树上。
