Everyonehasalotofdreams.Somepeoplewanttoberich,dreamingofbecomingmillionairesovernight.Otherswanttobefamous,dreamingofsuddenlyjumpingtogreatfame.Ihavealotofdreams,too.WhenIwasayounggirl,IdreamedofbecomingascientistlikeHuaLuogeninfuture.However,IknewverywellthatIcouldnotsucceedwithoutpainstakingefforts.SoIstudiedhardinthemiddleschoolandcollegeinordertoattainmygoal.Aftergraduatingfromcollege,Ifoundajobasateacher.AlthoughIwasverybusywithteaching,Inevergaveupmygoal.Ireadalotofbookstogetmoreknowledge.ImadeexperimentstopractiseandapplywhatIhadlearntfromthebooks.Sometimes,IwassodeeplyindulgedinmyresearchthatIforgotmymealsandtime.NowIhavemadegreatprogress.Severalofmyresearchpapershavebeenpublished.Themethodsproposedinmypapershavebeenproventobevaluableforthesolutionofsomeproblems.Iamveryhappy.Theladderofbecomingascientistisstillfarahead,butIhaveclimbedthefirstrunganyway.

Mymotherisadoctor.Shealwayshastoworkextrahoursandcomeshomelateandtired.Shehastogotothehospitalimmediatelyanytimesheisneeded,nomatterhowlateitisatnight.WhenIwasverylittleandstillinprimaryschool,Ionceaskedherwhyshechosesuchaboringandhardjob.Sheansweredwithasmile,“YesIamsometimesverytiredbutseeingmypatientsgettingbetterandbettermakesmehappyfromthebottomofmyheart.”

AsIgrowup,Igraduallycometounderstandherwordsandrealizedoctorsarenoble.ImadeupmymindtobeadoctorwhenIwasinjuniorschoolandthishasneverchangedsincethen.

Ireallyhopetoseeaworldwherethereisnocancer,noAids,nofataldisease,noonesufferingfromillness.Butthisisonlyafantasy.Whataboutthereality?Therearestillmanymanypeoplewhoarefacedwithdisastrousdiseaseandsufferingfromconstantpain.Therearestillmanymanypeoplelivinginmiserableconditionandlivemiserably.Therearestillmanymanypeopledyingofcancerandleavingthebeautifulworldreluctantly.AllthosethingsmakemefeelsadbecauseIthinkeveryonehastherighttolive.IwanttohelpthesickandreducetheirpainasmuchasIcan.IwanttobringahealthybodytothepatientsandsavetheirlivesasmanyasIcan.Iwanttoseepeoplecured,livinghappilywiththeirfamiliesandfriendsaftermytreatment.SoIwanttobeadoctor,anangelinwhite.

WhenIbecomeadoctor,Iwillcherisheachliferegardlessoftheraces,sexes,ages,positionsandoccupations.Iwilldoeverybittocuretheincurable.

Ialreadyhaveadreaminmyheart,soIhavetomakeeveryefforttorealizeit.Asahighschoolstudentnow,Iwillseizeeverychancetostudyhard,armmyselfwithknowledge,preparemyselfforthefutureandstriveformydreams.Iwillbedetermined,facetherealitybravelyandnotsurrendertoanyproblemsImeet.
