寒冬季节,兔妈妈要出门去,她怕小兔一个人在家孤单,便给他堆了个雪人.用两个龙眼核做眼睛,使漂亮的雪孩子神采奕奕.兔妈妈走了,雪孩子开始活动,小兔和雪孩子一起滑雪,他们一会儿滑上山坡,一会儿又滑过树丛.后来,小兔玩累了,就回到小木屋睡觉.雪孩子在树林里和松鼠玩起来.雪越下越大,但小木屋里却温暖如春,原来屋里生着火炉.小兔睡着了,他翻了个身,被子滑下来被火烧着了.火势蔓延开来,小木屋窗户里冒出了浓烟.雪孩子看到小木屋着了火,立刻赶回来,冲进小木屋,将雪球扔向烈火,但火越烧越大.
