去年的劳动节，我和妈妈一起随团去红原大草原这个美丽的地方玩耍。

在我心目中草原应该是一望无际，长着绿油油的青草的地方。每个地方都有可爱的小绵羊。可是我到了那里一看，哎！只见草原上光秃秃的一片，只有零星的一些牦牛在光秃秃的地面上啃着草桩。

后来我才知道草原上的草在二、三月份最茂盛。不过本地新鲜的空气、晚上满天的星斗也让我回味无穷。

在牵马老婆婆的鼓励下，我用手紧握缰绳，用双腿轻轻地夹马的肚子。不一会儿我慢慢适应了，我让牵马人把绳子放了，让我自己骑。我慢慢学会了，就在草地上跑了起来。
