我缓缓地坐了下来，终于又挤出了一句话，“今天的菜真好吃”“是吗？今天是我的生日”妈妈依然微笑着，什么，妈妈的生日，我却丝毫不知道，我的心颤抖着，连她心爱的女儿都忘记了她的生日。我再也说不出一句话，我感觉自己的脸越来越烫。妈妈在她生日时只是一个人坐在家里，我却与同学快乐地说笑。想起妈妈对我的种种好，我真的不知道该说些什么？妈妈似乎看出了我的为难。对我说：“快吃吧，一会该凉了。”“妈妈，生日快乐”声音小的连我自己都不知道在说什么，可妈妈听到了这几个字，笑的合不拢嘴，只是一句如此简单的一句话就让她如此开心，我更加难过了。妈妈依旧微笑着，我知道，只是这一句话就足够她回味一晚了。此刻我捧起饭碗，大口地吃着，妈妈更加高兴了，还为我夹菜，此刻我再也抑制不住自己的眼泪，投入妈妈的怀抱……

每每想到这件事，我便想起这样一句话：“谁言寸草心，报得三春晖”。妈妈为我生活想着，丝毫不顾自己。
