英语有几个连词

英文连词是连接英文单词的词，约有70个左右，可以表转折，比如however；表顺承，比如and，also；表解释说明，比如for example；表总结比如in a word；表原因和结果，比如because，so等。

表示转折关系的连词

however，nevertheless（但是），nonetheless，but，yet（但是），still，on the contrary（相反），even though（即使），although，despite（尽管）等。

表示顺承关系的连词

and，and then，also，too，in addition

（另外），what's more,furthermore（进一步说），moreover，on top of that，first，second，third等。

表示解释说明的连词

for example，in fact，in this case，for actually， for instance等。

表示一方面另一方面的连词

on the one hand，on the other hand，for one thing，for another等。

表示总结的连词

in a word（总之），all in all，above all，finally，at last（最终），in conclusion，as I have shown（就像我说的），in another word（换句话说），in brief，in short（总之），in general，last but not least等。

表示原因和结果的连词

because，since，therefore（所以），so，as a result（结果），then，furthermore，等。（as a result ,therefore, thus并不是连词而是介词，尤其是thus，虽然有连词的用法，但是不常用）

英文连词像胶水一样将互相关联的句子连接起来，国际语言学家、教育家龙飞虎又把它称之为“胶水词”。用胶水来比喻连词的作用，可见其重要性，掌握好这些连词对我们的英语学习十分重要。
