My Hometown in the Past

Growing up in my hometown, I have witnessed many changes to the way people lived their lives. In the past, things were very different. Let me take you on a journey through time to describe what life was like in my beloved hometown.

Food: The food in the past was mostly locally sourced and homemade. People grew vegetables and fruits in their gardens and bought fresh meat and fish from local markets. Rice and noodles were staple foods, and people ate meals together as a family.

Housing: Homes in the past were simple and often made of wood or bamboo. They had thatched roofs and few windows. Families shared one or two rooms for sleeping, cooking, and dining. However, homes were cozy and filled with love and warmth.
