ChangzhouisthehomeoftheChinaDinosaurPark(simplifiedChinese:常州恐龙园)locatedintheXinbeiDistrictofthecity.The5AratedDinosaurParkhasacollectionofdinosaurbonesandfossilsfromalloverChina.Theparkhas50variousfossilsandmorethan30amusementprogramsincludingtheBrontosaurusRollerCoasterandtheWhirlingDinosaurCarriage.Thefossilsarelocatedinamuseumhousedinasinglebuildingandtheamusementridesarespreadthroughouttheparkwhichiscategorizedintosixthemedareas.Besidesfossilsandfamilyorientedrides,DinosaurParkishometoagiantpandaandsealions.

In2011,anewamusementparkcalledCCJoyland(simplifiedChinese:环球动漫嬉戏谷)openedinTaihuwannearTaihulakeinWujinDistrictinthesouthofChangzhou.

ThecityisalsohometotheTianningTemple—oneofthelargestZenBuddhisttempleandmonasteriesinChina.ThecityrecentlyrebuilttheTianningpagodainthetemplegrounds,whichisadjacenttoHongmeiPark.Thepagoda,calledtheTianningBaota,wasfirstbuiltduringtheTangDynasty(AD618907).Sincethattimeithasbeendestroyedandrebuiltfivetimes.Thecurrentreconstructionisbuilttotheheightspecificationof153.79metres(504.6ft).ThismakesitthetallestpagodainChinaandperhapsalsotheworld.BoththeHongmeiParkandTianningTemplearelocatedjusttotheeastofthecitycentre.

AsChangzhouisnotedforitscombs,thecityhasreconstructeditsFineCombLaneareawithcontemporaryarchitecture.Changzhoucombscanbepurchasedinmostplacesinthecity.

ThereistheHongMeiPark,whichincludesasmallchildren'samusementpark,azoo,arosegardenandmanyscenicwaterways.OfhistoricalinterestintheparkisahistoricalpavilionwithexhibitsrelatedtotheChangzhoucombindustry.Inaddition,thereisanotherpavilionwhichdisplayslocallyproducedrootcarvings.Theparkattractslargenumbersofpeopleduringholidaysandisoftendottedwithavarietyofvendors.

OthersitesincludeChangzhou'ssunkencityandareaofarchaeologicalruinsfromtheSpringandAutumnPeriod.
