ABSTRACT:

Withthedevelopmentofphotogrammetryandspatialinformationsciences,wehavefoundmanynewmethodstosolvethetechnicalprobleminsurveyingandmappingproject.Butthereisalittleresearchontheprojectmanagement.Traditionalmanagementmethodiscomplexandtime-consuming.Now,weneedusenewtechniquetoimprovethemanagementmethodforenhancingmanagementlevel.Taking“NationalWesternSurveyingandMappingProjecton1:50000TopologicalMapsBlankArea”asanexample,thispaperfocusonproductionplanningmanagement.Theprojectisremarkable,notonlythetaskandextentistremendous,butalsothestaffandstuffareexcessive.TheBlankAreahasatrociousweatherandextremehypsography.Alloftheconditionsincreasetheprojectmanagementdifficulty.Forreasonableplanningandlogicalbudget,wedesignedandrealizedaproductionplanningmanagementsystemtogivethedecisionsupporttothemanagers.Thispaperstudiesthesystem’srequirementanalysis,systemstructureandfunctionindetail.

1.INTRODUCTION

Nowadays,GeographicalInformationSystems(GIS)arepowerfulandusefulasmeansofinformation,visualizationandresearchtools(QuanBao,2004).MostGISsoftwareismoresuitedtoprovidinglimitedtypesofoutputthanasatooltosupport,atanythingotherthanasuperficiallevel,tacticalorstrategicdecision-makingprocesses.ToimprovetheusefulnessofGISasadecisionsupporttool,twoneedsareapparent.First,decision-makersrequiremethodsthatallowthemtoeasilyselectalternativesacrossanumberofrelevantcriteria.Second,itisnecessarytoexplicitlyrecognizethatmostdecision-makingprocessesinvolvemultipleparticipants.Sinceproblemsolvingidoftencharacterizedbymultipleandconflictingobjectives,methodsthatcontributetowardmoreacompletelyaidingdecisionsystemarerequired.
