Guangzhou Ancient City Wall, also known as the Guangzhou Wall, is a historical site located in the city of Guangzhou, China. Built during the Song Dynasty, it was reconstructed during the Ming Dynasty and has a history of over 700 years. The wall, which encircles the city, measures 31.9 kilometers in length and is up to 12 meters high. The wall is made of grey bricks and features a gate tower at every 300 meters, as well as watchtowers at every 100 meters. The wall's architecture is a combination of traditional Chinese architectural techniques and local craftsmanship. Over the years, the Guangzhou Ancient City Wall has become a symbol of the city's history and culture, attracting numerous visitors from home and abroad.
