Itisthissecond,fuller,conceptof'fatherhood'thatIaminfavourof,althoughIalsorealisehowdifficultitistoachievesometimes.Theeconomicandemploymentsituationinmanycountriesmeansthatjobsaregettingmore,notless,stressful,requiringlonghoursandperhapslongjourneystoworkaswell.Thereforeitmayremainformanyadesirableidealratherthananachievablereality.
