Achildwhowasbornintoapoorfamilywouldhavehadmoresituationswheretheyhadtosolveaproblemormakeadecisionontheirown.Thisisbecauseinmostunfortunatefamilies,bothparentsareusuallyworkingandchildrenareputintosituationswheretheyhavetotakecareofthemselves.Bycontrast,duetotheirwealth,richchildrencanexperienceandlearnthingsthatunfortunatechildrencannot.Forexample,theyusuallygotothebestschoolsandreceiveahighereducationthere,whichpreparesthembetterforsolvingproblemsintheirlife.

However,fewwoulddisagreewiththefactthateachindividualisdifferent.Thatis,problemsolvingskillscomemorefromlifeexperience.Thatis,themoreapersonexperiencesinlife,themoretheycanusetheseexperiencestoadjust,toadaptandtosolveproblemstheyencounter.Personalityalsocanbeafactorindealingwithproblems.Apersonwhoisoptimistic,outgoing,confidentandopen-mindedcanlookatandsolveproblemsmoreeffectively.

Weneedtomakesurethatthemillionsofanimalswhoareusedfortestingnewproductsaretreatedwiththeminimumofsuffering.Althoughsomeanimaltestingmaybeunavoidableatpresent,treatingourfellowcreaturesasmercifullyaspossiblewilldemonstrateourhumanity.
