Mygrandparentsarealsoagoodresourceforadvice,becausetheyhavebeenaroundlongerand,thereforeknowmoreoftheworld.Inmystudies,Imayhavehadtheopportunitiestotravelallovertheworld.Whilebothofmygrandfathershavenottraveledasmuchasme,thatdoesnotmeantheyhavenotexperiencedtheworld.DuringWorldWarII,bothofmygrandfatherswerestationedabroad.TheynotonlylivedinEuropeforalongperiod,buttheyalsowereabletointeractwithtroopsofforeignarmies.TheydidnothavetheeducationalopportunitiesthatIhavehad,butthatdoesnotmeanthatIknowmoreabouttheworldthantheydo.

Admittedly,therearesomeareasinwhichIcannotgotomygrandparentsforadvice,namelytechnology.Cellphonesandcomputerswerenotarounduntilmygrandparentsretired,sotheyhaveneverhadtousethiskindoftechnologyforworkorstudy.Whilemygrandparentshavetriedtokeepupwiththetimes,theyarecertainlynotexperts.WheneverIvisitmygrandmother,forexample,shealwaysasksmetofixhercomputer.IwouldsaytheonlythingIcannotgotomygrandparentsforadviceisanythingconcerningtechnology.

Eventhoughtherearecertainareasinwhichmygrandparentsarenotthatwellinformed,thisdoesnotmeanthattheydonothavegoodorusefuladvice.Grandparentswisdomfromtheexperiencestheyhavehadcangiveusinsightandhelpusmakedecisions.
