The Chinese language is now the language with the largest number of native speakers in the world. One of the important distinctions between Chinese and Western languages is that it is composed of characters rather than letters. The Chinese language is the oldest writing system still in use at present. In China, people from different regions may not understand each others dialects. However, they have almost no difficulty in communicating because Chinese characters are written in a unified form. Chinese history has played an important role in uniting the Chinese nation. Nowadays, with the rapid growth of Chinas economy and the increasing global influence, more and more people from other countries have begun to learn Chinese.

1. 汉语现在是世界上用作本族语人数多的语言。本族语使用人数多可以译作the largest number of 用一个with链接做伴随状语。

2. 汉语与西方语言的一个重要区别在于她是以方块字（character）而不是以字母构成的。一个重要区别重要差别可译为one of the important distinctions，或者译成one of the significant differences理解一个重要区别指的是有很多差别，不译作a difference即可。

3. 目前仍在使用的书写系统中，汉语是古老的。目前可译为动词短语 at presents。书写系统可译作 writing system。这里in use可以使用被动翻译成be used，这里还可以使用定语从句翻译为the Chinese language is the oldest writing system that is used。
