　　学校概况：

　　艺术中心设计学院(简称ACCD)于1930年成立，是美国著名的设计学校之一，是所依托现代设计为基础的艺术学院。学院致力于培养以视觉艺术为职业的工作者以及艺术家。该大学是目前美国在设计上最权威的学院，学院的汽车和交通工具设计、数码设计、插画、平面设计、娱乐设计等专业，在世界具有领先地位。学院约有教职员工400多人，教师中百分之七十为兼职教师。目前在校学生约有2000多人，其中22%来自世界上40个国家。

　　学院设有九大院系：广告设计、环境设计、电影艺术、纯艺术媒体、平面设计、插图、摄影艺术、产品设计和交通运输工具设计。其中交通运输工具设计专业与美国通用汽车公司有良好的合作关系。该校还为各个年龄阶段的社会人士开设了设计教育公共课程。并在瑞士建有分校，开设课程有学前基础教育、学位课程、在职进修课程，可授予学士和硕士学位。

　　学院在世界范围内有很大的知名度，是因为学院培养了很多著名的工业设计师，宝马、奥迪、现代等多款经典车型设计均出自该学院毕业生之手。学院其他著名的专业还有：电影专业、插画、摄影、广告设计、平面设计和娱乐设计。学院和世界很多大型的企业有着密切的合作，包括ADOBE、耐克、环球电影公司、现代、索尼、诺基亚以及奥迪等。学校也经常邀请著名的艺术家和专业人士来校讲座并与学生交流。
