加拿大留学学分转换

　　TheUniversityofWaterloorecognizesALevelcoursesasexcellentacademicpreparationforsuccessattheuniversitylevelandwillconsiderawardingtransfercreditsforALevelcoursesinwhichnormallyaminimumfinalgradeofBisattained.

　　滑铁卢大学认可A-level课程，将其视为大学阶段学习的优秀学术准备。滑铁卢大学会考虑为A-level课程转学分，学生的A-level课程最终成绩至少要为B等。

　　PleasenotethatofficialfinalALevelresultsmustbesentdirectlytotheAdmissionsOfficeatWaterloobeforetransfercreditscanbeconsidered.YourfinalALeveltranscriptmustbereceivedbyAugust17th.

　　需要注意的是A-level官方最终成绩必须直接发送到滑铁卢大学招生办公室，以便转学分被考虑。学生的A-level最终成绩单必须在8月17日之前送达滑铁卢大学。

　　4.Thetransfercreditsyoureceivewillbedifferentifyouchangetoaprogramthatrequiresyoutotransferfromonefacultytoanotherfaculty.Pleasenotethatinsuchasituation,afacultyadmissionscommitteereservestherighttorefusetransfercredits.

　　Youhavetheoptionofdecliningyourtransfercredits.DetailswillbesentbyemailtoyouinJuly/August,onceyourtransfercreditshavebeenassessed.

　　1.转学分可以转多少取决于学生入学的院系。

　　2.转学分每门课一般计为1.0个单位(等同于滑铁卢大学的两门课程)。

　　3.工商管理与计算机科学双学位以及工商管理与数学双学位的A-level学分转换表列有滑铁卢大学和劳里埃大学上述学院的特定学分转换同等课程。

　　4.如果学生转入的课程要求学生换学院，那么学生拿到的转学分将有所不同。在这种情况下，学院入学委员会有权拒绝转学分。

　　学生可以不接受转换的学分。一旦学生的转学分被评估，详情将在7月或8月通过邮件发送给学生。

　　1.TheRecreationandLeisureStudiesdegreeprogramwillconsideruptoamaximumof4.0units.

　　2.TheHealthStudies,Kinesiology,andPublicHealthprogramswillconsideruptoamaximumof3.0units.

　　3.Specifictransfercreditcourseswillnotbeawardedforcoursesthataredirectlyrelatedtocorecoursesforyourdegree.Thatis,thefollowingcreditforAlevelcourseswillbegiven:BiologywillbeBIOL1XX,CalculuswillbeMATH1XX,ChemistrywillbeCHEM1XX,PsychologywillbePSYCH1XX,andPhysicswillbePHYS1XX.

　　应用健康科学学院

　　1.娱乐休闲研究学位最多可以接受4.0个单位。

　　2.健康研究、人体运动学和公共健康最多可以接受3.0个单位。

　　3.直接与学位核心课程相关的课程不计入特殊转学分课程。也就是说以下Alevel课程可以转学分：生物转为生物1XX,微积分学转为数学1XX,化学转为化学1XX,心理学转为心理学1XX,物理转为物理1XX。

　　FacultyofArts

　　1.Transfercreditswillbeconsidereduptoamaximumof4.0units,excepttheGlobalBusinessandDigitalArtsandAccountingandFinancialManagementprograms.

　　GlobalBusinessandDigitalArtswillconsideruptoamaximumof2.5units.

　　AccountingandFinancialManagementwillconsideruptoamaximumof2.0units.

　　2.TheAccountingandFinancialManagementprogramdoesnotawardtransfercreditforEconomics.

　　艺术学院

　　1.转学分最多可达4.0个单位。全球商务与数字艺术、会计与金融管理除外。

　　全球商务与数字艺术最多可以接受2.5个单位。

　　会计与金融管理最多可以接受2.0个单位。

　　2.会计与金融管理不为经济学授予转学分。

　　FacultyofEngineering,includingSoftwareEngineering

　　1.Weconsiderthesecoursestobeagoodchallengeandgoodpreparationforourprograms.Youmayfindthatyouhavecoveredsomeofthematerialincludedinourfirsttermcoursesbut,inmostcases,notenoughforyoutobeexemptedfromtheentirecoursewithoutpotentiallyrunningintoacademicdifficultieslater.

　　2.Thedepthandlevelofproblem-solvingisverydifferentinourEngineeringprogramsthaninthecoursesinthesystemslistedabove.

　　3.Asaresult,wedonotgrantfirst-yearcourseexemptionsforA-Levelcourses.

　　工程与软件工程学院

　　1.学院认可A-level课程为富有挑战的课程，并且是学院课程的很好的准备。学生将会发现，自己已经学习过第一学期的部分课程。但是在多数情况下，学生不能因此而不上第一学期的课程，否则，他们往后会免不了遇到学术困难。

　　2.在解决问题的深度和水平上，工程学院的课程和A-level课程很不相同。

　　3.因此学院不会因为学生上了A-level课程就不要求学生学习第一学年的课程。

　　Transfercreditswillbeconsidereduptoamaximumof4.0units,exceptforHonoursPlanning,forwhichtransfercreditwillbeconsidereduptoamaximumof1.0units.

　　环境学院

　　转学分最多可以接受4.0个单位，荣誉计划除外。荣誉计划最多可以接受1.0个单位。

　　FacultyofMathematics,includingComputingandFinancialManagement

　　1.Upto1.5unitsoftransfercredit(theequivalentof3termcoursesatWaterloo)willbeallowedforA-Levelcourses.

　　2.IfyouhavecompletedA-LevelMathematicsorPureMathematicswithagradeofA,youmay

　　acceptthetransfercreditandbeginyourcalculussequencewithMATH138;or

　　declinethetransfercreditandbeginyourcalculussequencewithMATH137;or

　　declinethetransfercreditandbeginyourcalculussequencewithAdvancedCalculus(MATH147).TheoptiontotakeMATH147isavailableonlyifyourEuclidMathematicsContestscoreis80orhigherorifyouobtainpermissionfromtheinstructoroftheMATH147courseonceyouarriveoncampusinSeptember.

　　数学(包括计算机和金融管理)学院

　　1.A-level课程转学分最多可以接受1.5个单位(等同于滑铁卢大学的三门课程)。

　　2.如果学生已经完成A-level的数学(纯粹数学)考试，并且成绩为A等，学生可以接受转学分，开始学习数学138微积分;或者

　　拒绝转学分，开始学习数学137微积分;或者

　　拒绝转学分，开始学习数学147高级微积分。

　　欧几里德数学竞赛成绩不低于80分，或者在9月份到校之后获得数学147课程老师的许可的学生，才可以选数学147课程。

　　3.工商管理与计算机科学双学位以及工商管理与数学双学位的A-level学分转换表列有滑铁卢大学和劳里埃大学上述学院的特定学分转换同等课程。

　　4.数学(特许职业会计)不为经济学授予转学分。

　　3.生物技术(特许职业会计)不为经济学授予转学分。
