伯牙鼓琴原文及英译
伯牙鼓琴志在高山。自恃其良才常思王者之器。梦中得一琴弹奏之极妙，一曲终了，唯有一人起立鼓掌。问之乃是琴瑟大师钟子期也。伯牙惭愧不已，遂投身钟子期门下，终身鼓琴不辍。
English translation:
Boya played the qin with the aspiration of reaching the highest peaks. Confident in his musical ability, he often thought of the musical instruments of the kings. In a dream, he obtained a qin and played it exquisitely, and at the end of the piece, only one person stood up to applaud. Upon asking, he found out that it was the great master of the zither, Zhong Ziqi. Boya felt ashamed and immediately sought to become Zhong Ziqi's disciple, playing the qin for the rest of his life without interruption.
