Nowadays,anincreasingnumberofmuseumsareopentothepublicwithfreeadmission.Avarietyofpolitical,culturalandeducationalprogramssponsoredbymusemshasbeenattractingmoreandmorevisitorstothemuseums,wheretheycangainknowledgeabouthistory,literature,art,scienceandsoon.Somemuseumshavebecomeagoodresortforpeopletoleisurelyenjoytheweekendsandholidays.However,freeadmissiontomuseumsmaycauseseveralnegativeproblemsaswell.Withtheincreaseofvisitors,thereispossibilitythatdisplaysofthemuseumsaresubjecttodamagetosomeextent.Anotherproblemisthatmanymuseumsareinurgentneedofextrafundstoperservedisplays,maintianexhibitionspace,updatefacilitiesandcarryondailyadministration.Besides,somevisitorslitter,spit,makebignoiseandwreckpropertiesinthemuseumsandtheirbadbehaviorsseverelyaffecttheenvironmentandmuseummanagement.Ihighlyappreciatefree-accesstomuseumssinceitisagoodpolicyforthepublic.Inmyopinionitisconductivetotheraisingofpeople’sculturalqualitiesandtheconstructionofacivilizedsociety.Therefore,moremuseumsandartgalleriesshouldbeopentothepublicfreeofcharge.Thegovernmentshouldgrantmorefinancialassistencetothefree-admissionmuseums,and,onthenotherhand,themuseumsshouldtakesomeeffecitvemeasuretoimporvetheirmanagementsothattheycanprovidebetterservicetothepublic.
